In the era of the “dual-carbon” strategy and the rapid growth of high-end manufacturing, the rubber industry is undergoing unprecedented transformation. By integrating its self-developed robotic automation systems into next-generation high-performance elastomer production lines, Sunlite has achieved a deep fusion of material science and intelligent equipment, delivering more efficient, reliable, and eco-friendly sealing solutions for sectors such as new energy vehicles, marine engineering, and medical applications.
Breakthrough in Materials: Upgraded High-Performance Sealing Solutions
In response to the increasingly stringent requirements of the NEV, chemical, and medical industries for sealing components with better medium resistance, weatherability, and environmental performance, Sunlite continues to upgrade its elastomer materials:
Special-media-resistant elastomers: Maintain stable performance from -60 °C to 300 °C and withstand exposure to over 300 types of chemical media, enabling long-life sealing for NEV liquid-cooling systems and marine protection equipment;
High-performance TPV elastomers: Combine the elasticity of rubber with the processability of plastics, ideal for lightweight components such as charging-port seals and dust- and water-proof strips, while remaining recyclable;
Functional customized materials: Achieve multiple properties—such as conductivity, flame retardancy, and oil resistance—through specialized flame-retardant modification, offering safer and more reliable solutions for intelligent equipment and medical devices.
The synergy between these innovative materials and automated processes not only meets the growing diversity of product design requirements but also significantly enhances product consistency and large-scale delivery capabilities.
Looking Ahead
Sunlite will continue to follow its dual-engine strategy of “Material Innovation + Smart Manufacturing”, increasing investment in next-generation elastomer R&D and expanding the application of automation equipment across more production stages, to provide global customers with higher-performance, greener, and more intelligent sealing and damping solutions.
